Founding producer Emma Hughes has years of experience collaborating with leading brands and agencies — including Nike, Guinness, Manchester City FC, EA Sport, Under Armour, and Three Mobile. Manchester Film Club is built on calm leadership, exceptional client care, and meticulous on-set management.
Our team has produced work with world-renowned talent such as Florence Welch, David Beckham, Mo Salah and Erling Haaland earning a reputation as an elite production partner.
We’re small enough to care, big enough to deliver, and smart enough to make budgets work harder. When things get tricky (and they always do), we stay cool, get creative, and find a way to make it happen.
Who We Are
Founded by producer Emma Hughes, MFC is launching as a specialised production partner offering scalable, cost-efficient production services for agencies, brands and production clients shooting across the North.
Over the years, Hughes has worked with major brands and agencies — including Nike, Manchester City FC, EA Sport, Under Armour, Guinness and Three — and has overseen shoots featuring top-tier sporting and music talent, such as Florence Welch, Kerolin Nicoli, Mo Salah, Trent Alexander Arnold, Erling Haaland and many more. Her success is rooted in the belief that production is about more than the final deliverable: it’s about how the client and crew feel throughout the process.
“Great production means creating a calm, confident experience for everyone on set,” says Hughes. “Our goal is to bring high-level execution to Northern productions, with the care and agility that independent teams can deliver.”
